Portland Green Student Village, Newcastle

Situated in the trendy Ouseburn Valley, Portland Green Student Village is Newcastle’s largest student community. Just a few minutes walk from both Northumbria and Newcastle universities, Portland Green offers cluster flats of 4-7 beds and studio apartments.

Each bedroom features a generous 3/4 sized bed, ample storage, a study desk & chair, wardrobe and chest of drawers and an en-suite shower-room. Each cluster flat also has an open-plan living and kitchen area kitted out with oven & hob, fridge-freezer and microwave to let you cook up a culinary storm!

In Sept 2017 the Village opened a large communal ‘hub’ area for all students, with a large screen TV’s, private study spaces, games area and generous seating. It also has secure internal courtyards, bike storage and we launched a new on-site Fitness Suite in September 2018.

Living in the Village allows you to get to and from your lectures with ease and gives you the added peace of mind that getting home from a night out will be both quick and safe.
