Newly refurbished last year The Forge is stylish, secure and with free shuttle buses to St Peter’s Campus, u-student Sunderland was designed to provide an unforgettable university experience. With its name a reference to the city’s industrial past, The Forge is also a short walk from the University of Sunderland city campus.

Standard room, £80 per week, 40-week tenancy

With a comfy single bed and super-fast Wi-Fi, our fully furnished room standard room is the perfect student space. Designed with you in mind, it is complete with a sink, vanity unit and its own study area. Cool yet convenient, the 10 square metres includes a desk, chair, noticeboard, shelving, snug single bed and under-bed storage space.

Each shared lounge is furnished with comfy seating, widescreen TV and kitted out with super-fast Wi-Fi, while every shared kitchen has a dining table with seating. Equipped right down to the knives and forks, all kitchens include a kettle, toaster, fridge-freezer, four-hob cooker, dishwasher, cutlery and crockery.

We also have Premium Rooms with private showers, costing £92 per week over 45 weeks. En-Suite Rooms, Apartments, Accessible rooms (with en-suite wet rooms) and same-gender flats are also available. We also have new Dual Occupancy En-Suite Rooms, these extra large spacious rooms come with a comfy double bed, dual wardrobes, 2 desks and chairs & super-fast Wi-Fi. The fully furnished room is ideal for a couple looking for a dual occupancy option and is the perfect student space. Designed with you in mind it is complete with an en-suite bathroom.
