The Gate, Sheffield

Located in the heart of Sheffield’s bustling city, surrounded by shops, restaurants, clubs and more, The Gate will be the place to stay whilst you’re at uni from September 2020.

Like sleeping in late? Well, Sheffield Hallam is just a 3 minutes’ walk around the corner, so you can practically roll out of bed to lectures. The University of Sheffield is also a short walk away, and if you like the convenience of having the shops on your doorstep, then you’re in luck because we’re right in the city centre. And, whenever you need to get out of the city, you can stroll to the train station in less than 10 minutes.

Fancy staying indoors? We’ve got great social areas including a 24-hour games room and a Sky Lounge with amazing views (we’re 23 floors high!). Plus, we’ve even got our own on-site gym, so you don’t need to worry about that extra membership fee. We also always have events on, so you’ll never be twiddling your thumbs at a loss of something to do! We can assure that you’ll feel at home in no time at The Gate, whether you opt for a studio, an en-suite or a shared apartment, we’ve got a space that you can make your own.
