Middle Street is our newest development situated in a prime location to study at the University of Portsmouth and enjoy what the city has to offer. With all studios featuring an en-suite bathroom and kitchenette as well as fast Wifi and a TV with free Netflix, Middle Street is the ideal place to live whilst studying in Portsmouth.

With spacious study areas perfect for individuals or groups to use, a large desk in each studio and free printers onsite you have the flexibility of where and when to study dependant on your needs. A great way to incorporate study breaks is to grab yourself a free hot drink from our hot drinks machine available 24/7 to suit you.

When taking a break from University and studying our common room is a great place to socialise with friends by challenging them to a game of Pool or FIFA on the Playstation. If you are looking to relax and chill instead our comfy sofa areas are a perfect place to watch your favourite movies or start a new boxset on Sky TV. During special days such as Halloween, Valentines and Christmas be sure to keep an eye out for the free fun events and treats we do and our Pizza Night is one not to be missed! For those who enjoy being active and like to keep fit, we have a modern gym on site which features popular machines including treadmills and a variety of weights for strength training. If you prefer to complete your workout in the morning you can grab free breakfast on the way back to your studio to refuel ready for the day ahead.

Portsmouth has an array of places to visit including Gunwharf Quays, Southsea Seafront & Albert Road. Gunwharf Quays located on the waterfront features popular designer outlets, restaurants and bars. It also has a cinema and bowling complex which is great for an evening out with friends. In summer the place to be is Southsea as it boasts a beautiful seafront and large common perfect to enjoy the sun with a picnic or BBQ.

Located across the road and less than 20 steps away is the University Eldon building with the Students Union, Library, Spinnaker building and Mercantile building only a short walk away too. The Portsmouth Business School is around a 10 minute walk away.

Portsmouth has excellent transport links, with National Express and a train station servicing connections to London, Gatwick airport and Heathrow airport. So whether you are local, from the UK, or an international student, it’s easy to get to and around Portsmouth.
